False tire:
In the first row, all stitches are knitted one by one, purl and purl.
In the second row, all stitches are knitted purl. The same process is repeated.
Front
Cast on 76 stitches and knit a two-finger wide fake elastic. While continuing to knit 10 stitches for the edge on one side, the other stitches are knitted plain. When the front, knitted to the desired length, reaches chest level, decreases for the neckline begin. To do this, the first two stitches next to the false elastic in each purl are cut purlwise. No cutting is done under the armpit. And continue decreasing until 40 stitches remain for the shoulder. When 40 stitches remain, they are all cut together and the front is completed. The other front is knitted in the same way.
The false elastic of one of the fronts is not cut immediately and knitting continues to wrap around the back collar. You can cut the other one immediately.
If you are going to sew buttons, do not forget to make a buttonhole at equal intervals on one of the fronts.
Back
Cast on 120 stitches on the bottle. A 2 finger wide fake elastic is knitted. And then we move on to plain knitting. Depending on how many rows the front has been knitted in total, the neck begins to be cut 6 rows before completing this number of rows. For this, 20 stitches are cut from the middle of the back at once and the back is divided into two parts. In the next row, 10 stitches are cut. In the next row, another 10 stitches are decreased. There will be 30 stitches left for the shoulder.
The same process is done for the other side.
arms
Cast on 76 stitches on the bottle. A 2 finger wide fake elastic is knitted. And switch to plain knitting. Every 6 rows, increase one stitch on both sides, knit to the desired length and close the knitting.
All parts are sewn together. Turn the long false elastic on one of the fronts around the back collar and sew it to the elastic of the other front and to the back. In this way, the seam will come to the side seam and there will be no ugly appearance.
